The Henry Cowell Mobile Visitor Center is a trailer that we transformed into an educational exhibit space about the Santa Cruz Sand Hills. I worked in collaboration with the rest of the Formations Inc. team under the supervision of our creative director. I played a large role in establishing the look and feel for this project. I’ve tried to highlight area where I had a significant impact on the layout and style of the exhibit space.

Our team focused on making the exhibit space fun, inviting and engaging for children and families.
This custom-made game demonstrates the importance of staying on the trail in protected areas.
As visitors turn the wheel, they are shown how the geography around the Santa Cruz Sandhills has changed over time.
This mural shows the various microhabitats that host local species.
Lifting the flip-panels reveals critters that live below the surface of the ground.
Outdoor retractable banners feature plants and wildlife that are uniqye to the local ecosystem and draw visitors to check out the rest of the exhibit.
