These engaging exhibits in the Visitor Center of the Santa Ysabel Nature Preserve help to educate visitors about the unique plants and wildlife of the preserve as well as the complex history of the region.

 The lobby area features a large landscape mural of the preserve with dimensional text. There is also a panel and digital interface that helps visitors locate and orient themselves.

 Visitors are challenged to guide a marble through this custom-made game in order to simulate the flow of the rivers and learn about the various obstacles that stand in the way.

 In this corner, visitors are given a peek under the surface of the preserve to learn about the rocks and geology of the area. Tactile artifacts are incorporated into the graphics to provide a truly hands-on experience.

 A touch screen is mounted in the countertop and mirrors the display of wildlife. Large buttons invite visitors to tap a silhouette and learn more about the animals they can see before them.
