Responsive web design concept of a site aimed at promoting tourism to the beautiful island country of Palau in the southwestern Pacific Ocean.
The site is designed to target North American tourists, so it intentionally plays into the visual style of a vacation destination that is more familiar to that audience: Hawaii. More specifically, Hawaii of a idyllic bygone era when the state embodied the very idea of the perfect tropical vacation.
Playful, vintage-inspired typography, beautiful imagery, and a fun, bright color scheme are all crafted to send a specific message: Palau is the new playground of the Pacific.
The site is designed to look beautiful and function perfectly on any device.
