As part of the Brand Creative Team at Seagate I was the lead visual designer for the corporation’s ESG initiative. This ‘microsite’ served as the keystone of this project, tying together all the various information, reports and visual elements in one place.
I worked with the UX and development teams to design all visual aspects of this site, you can view the live version with all responsive and interactive features at seagate.com/esg
I created the brand guidelines that served as the foundation for all Seagate ESG materials. These guidelines had to fit comfortably within the greater Seagate brand, but in order to visually differentiate ESG from the main brand, I chose to emphasize the white and green color combination to contrast with Seagate usual emphasis on black as the primary color. This gives ESG more of a bright, positive, and natural feel which is important in the context of sustainability, social issues, and governance.
The ESG Brand Guidelines were used to drive the look and feel of all related social media and marketing materials.
Internal communications, such as on-site TV screens, were also an emphasis in order to familiarize employees with and educate about the ESG programs and goals at Seagate.
